Do you need a place to hold a retreat or simply have a weekend gathering? Maybe we can help. Our facility has several buildings to help facilitate all your needs. You can choose to do your own cooking in our small kitchens or we can do all the work for you by having our staff cook. The choice is yours! All the programs and eventst that we plan at Living Waters are open to anyone interested. We offer summer camp programs for all ages and educational retreats throughout the year.
Our Facility
Living Water is a 150 acre facility situated in a picturesque valley in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Our crystal clear Artesian well welcomes campers and guest as it flows into Shawnee Creek which surrounds the property. We provide the ideal setting for environmental education programs, peaceful retreats or relaxing weekends.
A spacious meadow spreads along the valley floor surrounded by trees. The meadow is home to a wide range of sports fields including a full length paved basketball court, sawdust volleyball court and baseball diamond.
At the heart of the camp is the Dining Hall, Lodge and Meadow cabins. Our multi-purpose dining hall and meeting room can seat 120 people. It features a public address system and a beautiful stone fireplace for the comfort of our guests.
The Lodge can sleep 30 people with rooms that accommodate 2 or 3 people. Small groups can meet in the great room of the Lodge and relax in front of its distinctive stone fireplace.
Our recently renovate White House can accommodate small groups of 18 or less with a full kitchen, dining room, great room with fireplace and sleeping facilities.
For those who are looking to get back to nature, the hills around the meadow are covered in lush forests. Our rustic Pioneer Area, nestled in these hills, features hogans, a pavilion and rest rooms. This site, also designed with RV hookups and places to pitch tents, is perfect for getting away form the hustle of modern life.
Each area has complete restroom facilities and an outdoor meeting place perfect for campfires, Bible studies and sing-a-longs. We also offer an outdoor worship area, spiritual labyrinth and low-rope facilities.
