Summer 2008 -- Handle With Care
The 2008 summer camping theme, "Handle With Care", focuses specifically on care of God's creation. In addition to daily themes and activities "Handle With Care" includes a theme-specific chapter written by the Eco-Justice Ministry at the National Council of Churches. We will use the section,"Greening for Outdoor Ministry Facilities" to teach campers lots of practical ideas about how to "green" their current activities and become more aware of the environment around them.
