Arrival and Departure - Campers should plan to arrive between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM on the first day of camp for on-site check-in and cabin assignments unless otherwise directed.  Do not arrive earlier since your application will not be processed before 3:00 PM. Dinner will be the first meal served.  Campers should be picked up by 10:00 AM on the last day of camp.  Parents should arrive on time.  If someone other than a family member is transporting a camper, please note this on the registration form or inform the Administrator upon arrival at camp.
Camp Store - Campers may bring money with them, which is deposited in their account at the camp store.  No more than $ 40.00 is recommended.  The camp store stocks Living Waters clothing, postcards, and snacks.  Any unused money will be returned to the camper at the end of the week.  There is also a mission offering taken at the end of the week.  Please inform your camper if you want them to save money for this.
Care of Rooms and Mealtimes - Campers are asked to assist with caring for rooms and cabins.  Please keep floors swept and free of all trash.  Mealtimes will be:  Breakfast - 8 AM, Lunch - 12:15 PM and Dinner - 5:30 PM unless otherwise stated.
Drivers under age 18
- The administrator will hold keys to all vehicles driven to camp by persons under 18 years old.  Keys will be collected at registration and returned at the end of the session.
Environment and Wildlife - Respect of, and care for, the environment and wildlife are considered an essential part of the Living Waters experience.  Please do not capture any animals, pick any wildflowers or damage any trees.
Financial Aid/Camperships - Every camper who wants to attend Living Waters should have the opportunity to do so.  Many churches offer assistance with camp fees.  Living Waters has limited funds available in the form of camperships.  Please contact the Penn West Conference office for more information.
Grade - The “grade” listed for camps refer to the grade a camper will complete by June 2009, not the level he/she will enter in the fall.
Groups Photos - There is no better way for campers to remember their week at camp than a group picture.  We offer an 8 x 10 photo for $ 8.50 and a 5 x 7 photo for $ 5.50.  They are easy to order, just mark it on your registration form
Health Form - Current health forms for all campers and staff are required every year.  Please be sure to fill out all information, signatures and physical information by a licensed physician and send it to the Penn West Conference Office at LEAST two weeks before an event.  Health forms DO NOT need to be sent with the registration form.  We understand that it is sometime difficult to get the health form done at the same time as the registration form.  ALL forms MUST BE submitted at least two weeks prior to camp attendance.
Medical Information - All camps have a registered nurse on duty at all times.  All medication, both prescription and nonprescription, must be given to the camp nurse during on-site check in at camp.  All medications must be in the original containers form the camper’s pharmacist or the nurse cannot administer it.  The camp nurse needs this information in the event of illness or injury.  Parents will be notified if there are any medical concerns or emergencies.
Non-passenger Vehicles - Living Waters prohibits transporting individuals in the back of pickup trucks or wagons where seats are not attached.  The only exception is for hayrides when wagons or trucks are driven at 5 - 10 mph off public roads and where protective devices are provided to keep persons from falling out of or off of the vehicle.
Participation - All campers are expected to participate in the full schedule of camp activities.  All youth campers will remain on-site or under supervision throughout their entire stay.  Visitors to campers are discouraged during a camping session.  Email messages are allowed at lvngwtrs@embarqmail.com.
Prohibited Items - Illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages and firearms are prohibited at camp at all times.  If a camper is found with any of these items, their parents will be called and they will be sent home immediately.  Radios, iPods, CD players, cellular phones, electronic games and food, brought from home, are also prohibited at camp.  If campers bring these items, the items will be collected and stored for the week.  Make sure all campers understand this policy!  Smoking is strongly discouraged for all people at Living Waters.
Refund Policy - If a camper is forced to cancel, payment will be refunded minus a $ 30.00 administrative fee.  All cancellations must be received at least 10 days prior to the first day for a refund unless there is a medical emergency or family crisis.  Cancellations received after 10 days are not eligible for a refund.
Registration and Payment Policies - Deadline for registration is two weeks prior to the first day of an event.  Please use a separate registration form for each camper.  If a camper is attending more than one event, please fill out a separate registration form for each camp. Registrations must be received by May 15, 2009 to qualify for the free T-shirt.  If more than one camper is registering from the same family, there is a $ 10.00 discount for each registration.  Completed registration forms should be sent to:
Living Waters, 320 S. Maple Ave., Greensburg, PA  15601.  Please make checks payable to “Living Waters.”
Swimming - This activity is not permitted at Living Waters.  Campers go to Shawnee State Park for this event.  All campers must follow posted park rules as well as use the approved buddy system.
What to bring - Campers should bring the following items:  sleeping bag or sheets and blankets, pillow, washcloth and towels, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, toilet articles, casual clothing including some cold weather items, at least 2 pair of sneakers, bathing suit, beach towel, rain gear, flashlight, notebook, pen, pencil, envelope (preaddressed and stamped is very helpful) and most importantly, a Bible.  Write the campers name on all items with a waterproof marker.  Campers may bring along a camera and any musical instruments.  Pack all valuable items in a zip lock bag clearly marked.
