Camp Descriptions 2013

Kindergarten, First and Second Grade Camp
Director: Janet Brumbaugh

This camp allows younger children to experience being away from home, living in community and beginning friendships that will last a lifetime. Activities are designed to introduce campers to camp life with crafts, creative play and Bible studies that are easy to under-stand and practice. Campers will also have their first true taste of a campfire experience!

Primary Camp
Director: Tammie Lasswell

For many young children, three days just is not enough! This camp provides the same experience as the three-day camp, but allows them to grow throughout an entire week.

Third and Fourth Grade Camp
Directors: Rev. Joseph and Jennifer Hedden
For the first time, campers stay in the meadow and experience camp life in the cabins! Campers will love the chance to choose a bunk, whether top or bottom. This camp provides children with Bible studies that not only cause them to think, but request that they participate as well. Games played in the meadow, creek walks, meal-time singing and much more all await your child.

Middler Camp
Director: Ryan Stemple
Middler Camp takes the campers "up on the hill” for their first chance to stay in the Pioneer Area's hogans. This locale assists campers in building strong relationships with each other that will last through the years. While offering crafts, music, hikes, and many other activities, Middler provides these children the chance to "join the discussion" for the first time as more of the adult they are becoming.

 Jr./ Sr. High Camp
Director: David Kirby
Continuing with an expanded week and relocating to the Pioneer Area, campers are provided with the opportunity to interact with others to discuss and search out their spiritual questions and to experience the love and acceptance they do not al-ways find outside of camp. A variety of activities are being planned including crafts, archery, team-building and Bible Study. Registration will begin at 10AM on July 6.

Sports Camp
Director: Autumn Daniels
Sports camp provides a Christian experience for all with a balance of sports and Bible Study. The campers spend the week learning the basics of a number of sports including soccer, softball, volleyball, flag football and basketball. Come and join in on one of the biggest camps of the season!

ReCreation Camp
Director: Donna Carroll
This camp focuses on the Special Needs Adult. We believe that everyone should have a chance to experience God in an outdoor set-ting. Recreation staff is comprised of highly trained individuals ready to assist special needs adults in experiencing Bible studies, crafts, music and other activities in association with other camper groups. Limit one camp per camper (to provide opportunity for all)
